Share a Howard Beale Moment With Me
One of the best movie moments of the seventies is when people ran to their windows and screamed"I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not gonna take it anymore."
They did this because a newscaster named Howard Beale told them to.
Keith Olberman of MSNBC Countdown gave me the same basic feeling last night. Okay, remove the fact that Howard was a nutcase.Sometimes a nutcase can touch a nerve, in a good way.
Olberman is not a nutcase. He is as rational a voice as your likely to hear on TV lately.
What he says here expresses my anger, and I'm willing to bet, yours too.

Wow; class economic rape. I would say that pretty much describes it. I've definetly had ENOUGH.
Thanks for posting this, I'm going to try to keep up with keith olberman now. I haven't previously b/c I had no strict need for cable tv. Thank god for google alert ;)
